This MTB shoe’s new in 2016 for people who want the comfort of riding in trainers, but like to use clips and want a bit more support on the bike. It’s perfect for getting out and discovering new trails where you might need to jump off the bike.

First up is the lace closure system, which gives your feet great hold and keeps your laces out of harm’s way. It also features an Ergo Fit Ortholite® inner sole to support your feet and reinforced areas around the heel and toe to keep you protected on the trails.

A full Contragrip® sole gives you great traction and grip off the bike, too. So if you’re out for a ride but you also need to walk, you’ve got the right kit for both situations.

Features:
  • Lace closure system
  • Ergo Fit Ortholite® inner sole
  • Contragrip® sole
  • Weight : 445 grams (8.5)

Good entry level shoe. Comfortable, easy to fit cleats and clips into and out of pedals well.

Perfect...for me
2016-09-07 11:49:12.0

This is a super comfy trail running shoe with a cleat. Could not be better for hike-a-bike / rough XC. I am stoked. Very light. Very breezy. Great for hot weather. Would be draughty in the cold, but not an issue here.

Note. There is NO stiffness built into the shoe. So if you are freaked out about getting that last 0.2% of power transfer, then this shoe will be a complete disaster for you as your peddling efficiency will plummet... by 0.2%.

Too small, sent them back.

Was looking forward to some new shoes, but alas, got them, tried them on, thought maybe I could make a go of it, tried them again, nope, no go... Size UK 12, they're on the very small end of this. Normally I'm a UK 12, or US 13, or a 48. these are a UK12, but they're only a US12.5, or 47 and 1/3rd..., so, they're 2/3rds too small for my clompers.

Otherwise they looked like a good budget shoe.

Fit for purpose - indeed!
2016-07-05 11:24:11.0

Big wide feet are hard to fit into an off the shelf internet purchased shoe. Have had some disasters in the past but these were perfect. I did (accidentally) go one size bigger (47 rather than 46) than I did when I bought my Exustars but that worked out fine, the width of shoe was perfect and the toe room much better than is often the case.
Even better, the shoes are street-able, and look so mainstream that they aren't out of place in a cafe. The plank isn't overly stiff which suit me fine - I'm a devotee of flats not SPDs and some compliance is most welcome on portage sections or walking my flat white to my table.
Would def. buy again, especially when on special!
