The production of quality mountain footwear began with Giuseppe Zamberlan in 1929 and was continued by his son, Emilio. Nowadays the third generation of the family is actively involved in the family business, from production and testing to sales.
 

Zamberlan has maintained the production of high performance boots in Italy, in exactly the same original premises in Pievebelvicino [Vi - the heartland of Italian boot manufacturing] where footwear experience, knowledge and tradition are deep-rooted and firmly kept. To complete the range, some of the styles are manufactured abroad, by partners worldwide known for their professionalism, but always developed and controlled by Marco.
 

In order to obtain a high quality product you must use high quality components. This is why Zamberlan always selects the best available leather hides. Only those meeting its strict standards obtain the Hydrobloc mark, which is Zamberlan’s registered trade mark to indicate the best skins, tanned with hydrorepellent treatments.
 

All the major raw materials are controlled at the supplier’s. Every pair of shoes undergoes a strict quality control during the production process. Zamberlan’s approved partners and the family whole are constantly present on the production line.
 

Although the factory has modern machineries operated by highly specialized staff, Zamberlan’s shoes should be considered ’hand made’ products. Many of these employees have been working at Zamberlan for many years contributing to the growth of the company.
 

Recognizing the varied and individual demands of international markets, Zamberlan tests in the most vital areas in the world: soles, footbeds and linings are selected to meets the demands of the countries where they will be used.
