FAULTY!
ChrisFeigl, RICHMOND One the first use I was stretching out the coil by pulling on the lock mechanism (with a fair but not excessive amount of force) and it completely detached itself from the cable. That is the hold that it had on the cable was not enough to sustain a person's strength. Therefore I would say anybody could steal a bike that was locked with this device. I will test all future locks in this manner before I buy them (by trying to detach the lock from the cable). Fail.

excellent value for money
gregwells, BONDI JUNCTION Very heavy duty bike lock and great value for money. I'm using it as a second lock to secure seat and back wheel and feel quite confident about it. Not as easy to handle as some of the more expensive bike locks but quite functional. Overall a great buy.
