Ironman watch sizing  Andrew Browne, Goodwood Heights
The black and white watches are a smaller size. I purchased the beige/brown and the size is good for me, the metal part of the strap needed some adjustment (bending) to fit comfortably but no problem to do that. Very happy with this watch. Purchased to replace my old faithful Ironman watch.

Beige Brown size is great. You can select the layout on the various functions so I can see the large numbers without glasses! Don't run with glasses so this is great. Effectively has three interval timers with a countdown timer that repeats, as well as the dual interval timer. perfect for training! Could also use them for km time markers in a race. Alarm is nice and loud, if a little to long, certainly can be heard over my heavy breathing...tehe

I love this watch but I am a girl - for a guy I think the face would be too small.

I still haven't worked out how to do fancy stuff on it but am very happy with it. Great watch for the price!!

Very happy with the watch.
All the spec. work very well, and looks good. Don't be like me and not read the spec. and find the black is more a ladies size, lucky my daughter brought the beige/brown one which is large size so we swapped.

Yes it's a bit smaller than a regular men's watch and you wouldn't want thick wrists but I didn't want a clunker hanging off my wrist anyway. It's half way between a men's and a woman's watch. The functions are great and it does everything it promises. Great for interval training.

The watch itself does all the things I need for rep work on the track. The 75 lap memory is just what I need for my training. The only little problems I have are the clip style band and the black face. The band fitted well for the first month, but slowly as I take it on and off, the hole I use to secure the watch seems to be getting bigger and the clasp slips out of the preferred spot. The black face is hard too read.

I've only just got it, but so far it's impressive, easy to navigate and set the time etc. Quality in appearance and a unique way of adjusting the band...I'm a woman so smallish wrists and was kind of worried that it would be too big for me, but the adjustment is easy and great.
The face is big but it's not overly bulky in thickness like a lot of cheaper water resistant watches (or for example the G-Shock ones) seem to be. I've given it 4 stars (fit, quality, looks, function) purely because I haven't tested the long term usage as yet.

Nice watch but not for a male sized wrist. I wore this for a day and had a lot of people ask why it was so small and if it was a girls watch.

The band is also designed for a thin wrist and the metal bits don't sit right on my wrist.

I would describe this as "petite" rather than "sleek".

This is more sturdy than a previous ironman watch that I owned. It is very light, comfortable to wear and has heaps of lap time settings. However the numbers are very narrow making them very difficult to read. The numbers are not as easy to read on the black face as the other options.

I purchased the Men's brown beige for myself. The new style clasp is very unique and the colour makes the watch fashionable. I am very happy with the purchase.

I purchased the Women's Black watch for my wife and was disappointed with this product for the following reason:

The black face does not make it easy to see the time/date and cannot be read without putting the indigo light on at all times. This would prove to be very awkward and cumbersome during normal use and also if using during competitions or training sessions. Dependant on alternate colours available I am considering using the return policy for either a replacement or credit.
