I have put off purchasing a stand for the last 12 months. I dont know what i was waiting for, this stand is of a great quality, and for the special price it is a steal. I wouldnt hesitate purchasing this item, even at normal cost. Great product from Torpedo7 as always.

Best value stand around, absolute steal when it's on special. Finish is great too, I've used it for 9 months and it shows no signs of wear. Makes working on the bike so much easier.

Don't hesitate. You won't regret getting this. I was a bit dubious at all the rave reviews but the price was so good I thought I'd risk it. Well, I can now add my thumbs up too!
It is sturdy, nicely made and has features that make it very convenient to use.
I particularly like its ability to get its clamp 5 foot off the ground and then fold away and disappear!

I grabbed this stand when it was on special.
I was not sure what to expect, but when it turned up I was amazed, a beautifully finished, sturdy item that works extremely well.
It would have been good value at twice this price.

Excellent quality, great piece of gear. I was amazed at the value as I bought it on special. Had I bought it at the normal (ie standard T7 discount) I would have been delighted - on special it is incredible.

Very easy to use and it makes working on the bike so much easier (as any other quality workstand). Easy to fold up so no worries about "can't be bothered" with more fiddly gear. This is my second stand, had I bought one originally I would not be buying a second stand as this is just so convenient and easy!.

Having used both the cheaper model and this model, this one is the stand out winner in design. Having the rotating head that locks in at whatever angle you set it to is just worth it by itself. It is sturdy enough to be used at home, even for the installation of bottom bracket cups. I just need a parts tray for it and it will be complete.

If you got this on special you would have to be happy with it, its well made and quite sturdy, some plastic components may be a little on the cheap side, but the price you can pay for a workshop stand is out of this world, so this one is perfect for budding home mechanic, good stuff T7!!!

Since buying a high end carbon bike I decided a work stand was on my shopping list. The BT999 came on special right on queue. Received it yesterday and must say I am very impressed. Good value at the "everyday" price, exceptional value at the "special" price. Thanks Torpedo 7. No regrets.

I've not used a workstand before but for the price (on special) my only regret is that I didn't discover it sooner. It is sturdy, easy to use and easy to unfold/fold away.

My only criticism is that I would have appreciated the inclusion of a manual. Whilst it doesn't take long to work out what the levers, clamps and joints do, I can't be sure I'm using the workstand optimally.

Highly recommended.

The bike stand was damaged during the freight. Got in contact with Torpedo 7 team, took a photo of the damaged, and a new part was sent straight away. Now the stand work just fine. Great product, even better service.

I'd been searching for a suitable workstand for months to conduct basic repairs and maintenance at home. I was tired of having a sore back and knees from having to bend down all the time!
This product is exceptional value for money - the construction is sturdy, with beefy but light frame, quality adjustment mechanisms, ease of use and portability.
Most other items of similar nature were 2-3 times more expensive.

Seems like a great stand. Hopefully will encourage me to do more stuff myself. Only thing I would prefer to see (and even pay more for) would be a metal swivel joint rather than the plastic. Can't say I see a fault with the plastic now, but who knows over time. A metal one would give it same robast feel as the rest of the stand and 5 stars for me.

The stand is actually stronger than I expected and very easy to use. I have successfully used it to hold up a road bike and all my kids mountain bikes. It was very easy to adjust the height of the stand to suit the bike you are working with. Very happy so far.

Good stand with enough features to make almost all jobs easy. It has a little difficulty handling the different frame shapes and sizes of my bikes but the only consequence is that the bike isn't held absolutely firmly. There were no instructions but that delayed me no more than a couple of minutes - the stand is not that complicated. I would happily buy it again for that price and it has made my bike maintenance a pleasure.

A great purchase from Torpedo 7. The stand can accommodate a variety of frames and I am very happy with it. The plastic toothed collar may be a weakness over time but minimising stresses with a little bit of common sense will prevent any problems.

For anyone who works on their bikes, this is a must-have.

It'll make the servicing faster, more effective, and less painful (no more back pains!).

The workstand itself has all the adjustments you'd need when working on bikes, and its build quality is great.

Its a steal for the price.

My only one small complaint about this stand design was the plastic toothed collar, and this is not really an issue if you are only working your road bikes or XC MTB's. With the special you won't get better bang for buck than this stand.
If you spend the time maintaining your bikes might as well make it easy on yourself.

Work stand is great to get the bikes off the ground and work on them. I haven't worked out yet how to stop the bottom mouth of the clamp slipping forward, that's my only gripe with this kit. All else good, great stability.

The BT999 was far more sturdy than I was expecting for the Special price. It didn't come with any instructions on how to set it up but after a couple of minutes I was away and happily cleaning my bike. There are so many adjustments for height and angles, it's great. I would definitely recommend it.

I initially had some reservations thinking you couldn't get a good stand for under $200 but to my surprise when I opened the package I was amazed at what I got for the price. I recently pulled my MTB apart into many pieces and having this stand has made my life so much easier. The stand is very sturdy and well thought out in its design.

Just got this workstand, it looks really sturdy and am very happy with it, just waiting to use it.
Would have been the best if there was a small tray that can be attached for bolts and stuff to frame.

I've had this stand for more than a year now and it see's regular use, gets knocked about when i transport it around, been drenched in rain, but still going strong!

Excellent stand - with one caveat  TonyNairn, Watson
The stand is very well put together and easy to use. However, the toothed collar that allows the clamp to rotate doesn't do up tight enough. I have a Santa Cruz with a shock mount in the middle of the top tube so I have to clamp the frame at the back of the top tube or from the seat post. Either way there is too much weight up front and a bit of pressure on the front of my bike makes the toothed collar slip. Being plastic, it's not gonna survive too many of those moments. If the rotating handle at the rear of the clamp was able to be done up further it might allow the toothed collar to be done up tighter and prevent this issue. My only gripe with an otherwise excellent, and great value workstand.
