Hallelujah

I had to wait a good few months for these to come back into stock. I did the mistake of adding to my wish list and contemplating, then they sold out!!!!...Once these cam back in stock, I didn't hold back! Arrived next day.
A breeze to set up, and what a difference this has made to my garage space, especially with not having to use screws and ugly racks on the walls etc.
Great tip...I have just bought another, which I have used to hold my surfboard on the lower level in its cover and the top to hold my to snowboards in their burton carry bag! Simply by hanging them up by their handles onto the stand clasps. Now my whole garage is free of anything on the floor. I have just bought a brand new home and I am happy I have not buggered up the walls or floors because these require no screws.
Even at the regular price this stand is well worth it! I called around alot of bike shops looking for a stand prior when these were out of stock, and noone had them or knew really what I was after.
If you manage to get on on special, you are a very lucky little camper!

Like everyone says - Excellent!
MickCarthey, Glenmore Park
Easy setup, does exactly as it's designed to - although borderline on needing it, I also used an off-cut of inner tube to help the clamps grip - now they hold my weight easily, let alone just a bike!
Mine is holding a MTB hardtail & a roadie - both no probs.

It works!!!
PhilBeresford, Leichhardt, NSW
As others have mentioned, for heavier bikes a bit of rubber is needed to stop the slippage - I used rubber from an old light clamp, but a bit of old inner tube would work just as well. With the rubber in place it holds both my mountain bikes with ease. Even my Yeti 575 with it's sexy hydro-formed top tube. I repositioned it a few times with no marks left on my ceiling. Got mine on special. Worth every cent! If I had more bikes I'd buy another. Thanks T7!

I have 6 of them...
NateThomson, Melbourne
Great stand, and will hold 2 mountain bikes with ease. You just need to do a very simply modification. The clamps have a habit of sliding down. Others have mentioned putting rubber under the clamp, I just pop down to bunnings and get some hose clamps the same size as the pole. Simply screw the hose clamp down tight and the other clamps will not slide past it, no matter how much weight you put on it.

Simple and brilliant
SteveMuller, Ipswich, Qld
Unwrap, setup in 5mins by twisting your wrist, no screwdrivers needed, store 2 bikes. Simple and perfect. Looks solid and well made. 1 bad thing - The black rubber can smudge your white ceiling, so get it right 1st time :)

Fantastic with slight modifications
StuartDuggan, Meadowbank -Akl
This is a great product, especially when I got it on weekly special. Only thing I did was put a section of an old tyre where the clamps are to avoid them slipping down. Very easy fix to make this a great storage device. It can even hold my DH bike now.

Remained standing when everything else fell over
IsobelStout, Christchurch
Yup, this and it's load of two road bikes survived a mag 6.3 EQ with ground accelerations never seen before. Truly remarkable given the state of the rest of the place!

Worth Every Cent and More
RobMcMillan, KEPERRA
I have just purchased one of these and received it in quick time and good order. It has freed up valuable garage space and is easier to manage than my old home made block and tackle setup. Buyers should be aware that it is more suited to lighter weight bikes than the heavy old mountain bikes I'm using it for. But if you screw it to the ceiling and floor through the conveniently provided holes in the top and bottom pads and place a small bolt through one of the many extension adjustment slots just below the top bike support bracket (I would've supplied a photo if I could have attached it!) you could use it for the heaviest pushbikes I've ever lifted. The small bolt stops the problem of the clamp sliding down that Ben Peach mentioned in his review and much easier than trying to clamp using a rubber insert. I'm waiting for it to come back on special when I will buy another two for use on the back patio with the kids bikes. How do 5 people end up with 9 bikes anyway? This is a product well worth the money and I would recommend it to anyone with more than 1 bike. It's so simple to assemble and use you won't even need the instructions which is a good thing because it didn't have any!

Top Bike Stand
TravisEddie, Raceview
I bought this stand to free up some space in the garage and it has worked a treat!
I have 2 road bikes on there and haven't had a problem with the clamps slipping, although I am thinking of sticking some rubber between the clamp and the post as suggested in other reviews just to make sure.
I agree with another comment that for larger, square tubed carbon frames it's a little harder to get in and out without clunking the knob, but putting this bike in the lower holder helps because you can see what you're doing a little better and put the bike in a little more carefully.
Now that I have more space I want to buy more bikes, and then I'll buy another of these as well.

Bike floor to ceiling stand
RodBudd, Hillcrest -Hamilton
This is the first product I bought from Torpedo7. To be honest I was expecting something a bit cheap and nasty but this is a superbly made item. Really sturdy and works perfectly. It's so good I was trying to think of another use for it so I could justify buying another one! Great service too, thanks guys.

Double Stacked
ShaunMcRae, Remuera, Auckland
Definitely helped unclutter the garage, have it set slighty different than the product photo with 2 bikes at the top (on either side) of the stand and still managed to fit 2 on the floor underneath them. Excellent buy when on special.

Not Too Bad
BenPeach, BRUNSWICK
I wouldn't pay full price for this item, luckily got it on sale. It isn't the sturdiest of racks if you have mountain bikes, but if you have road bikes I'm sure it'd be fine. Anything over 15kgs and the clamp which holds onto the pole just slides down, especially the one on the top. There was a suggestion of putting rubber there, I'm yet to try this but can forsee it working. Not so bad for the cash monies wouldn't pay over $100 for it though.

Great product, simple, easy and inexpensive and really frees up your floor space. For rubber strips as suggested in clamps, I used some old tyre tube, works a treat. great value, great product, thanks!

It just works!
NoelLim, Homebush West
I bought one last year for my two bikes, and now that I have four - I just had to buy another one!
Very easy to setup and use. Build quality is good, and design is excellent - mounts has all the movements you need to mount your bike.
Lastly, the price is an absolute steal.
Only thing I'd change is the colour - one half of the stand is orange, which is a bit bright. I bought a can of matte black at the hardware shop, and that fixed it nicely.

great product!
NathanKeatch, Melbourne
I would recommend this stand to anyone that needs to get their bikes off the ground and free up some more space.
It was a breeze to install. Super fast delivery (next business day!) and torpedo7 were fantastic to deal with!.
My only complaint is that it's bright orange. I am using it in my apartment and it looks a little odd.... but who really cares about that?

TORPEDO7 2 Bike Floor to Ceiling Stand
CarynLancaster, TRARALGON
We used some rubber strips as suggested in a previous review and it works a treat. Our dislikes are the shape of the hooks, they work well on a tubular frame, but the squarish tube carbon road bike probably needs more of a "U" shaped hook, and they could be a little longer for a large carbon top tube so that it doesn't clunck the knob when removing the bike.
Overall though and excellent product for the price, even full price, it has given us back a heap of floorspace.

Good stand...nearly perfect
PedroDiaz, HAMILTON SOUTH
This is a really handy stand. The bike holders clamp onto the post using hard plastic holders. As the metal is quite smooth and not symmetrical, if the clamp rotates on the pole it loses grip and drops the bike! This is easily fixed by placing some rubber strips between the pole and clamp and the it holds like glue with minimal effort. Hopefully Torpedo7 can feed this back to the manufacture so they can perfect this great product.

Easy to erect - Good design
DavidMeikle, Wollongong
I'd been looking around for a way to store some bikes and saw these on special and ordered two. They take less than 10 mins to install and work well. Have mountain bikes on one and road bikes on the other and the cradle seems to accommodate both well. Look good too - I can't fault them.
