Great value for money, less than 1/2 price of cheapest pair in local bike shop.

I usually wear mediums, so bought a medium. Great fit (quite tight, but that's what you want!) gets the blood flowing to your feet!

Wash seperately the first few times, dye runs pretty bad. Will run into your jocks the first wear, but after a few goes is fine.

I have a few different brands and despite their price these are really good quality. They fit really well round your things and waist. Though oddly a lil tight around my "tackle area" - I don't think I have especially large tackle but would happily be convinced otherwise.

Sorry, I thought the other '09 Torpedo7 shorts were good. These ones are far superior in fit and quality for I feel if it's tight, then it's RIGHT.
This is a much better fitting lycra short and I can feel the compression easily and still comfortable. Great styling and price.
If you like it tight, then buy your regular size.

Pros:

- When on sale (the 'holy crap' price, not the 'sale we have when we're not having a sale' price) they can't be beaten for value.

- Has a chamois.

- Longer than some.

- Plenty of redundant stitching.

- Opaque (no offending fellow road users with your jiggling white bum).

- What you see is what you get.


Cons:

- Need to soak, wash, and rinse thoroughly before use, as there is a lot of excess dye

- Tight! If you're unsure of your size, go for the larger pair.

- Chamois is about as contoured as a brick. Looks like you're hiding a drawbridge in your pants.

- Waist has no drawstring, and will not act as a girdle for your pot belly.

- Torpedo 7 logo disappears completely after a few washes (could be considered a pro depending on your personal preference).

I am 170cm and 71kgs I got the large and I really think the medium would of been better..But I still like them the chamois isn't the best but its ok does the job ...sort of...A 100kms and you feel it.
Buy on SALE and they are a winner!!!

My 3rd and 4th pairs of nix...
The first 2 lasted a year, with 100km of commute weekly and a 70-80km shop ride on the weekends.

Great fit all around, nice and snug throughout the legs & good height around the waist.

The Chamois is fine too - I've felt "thicker" and more dense chamois, but never had an issue wearing these for 100km or 3hrs+ of riding.

Simply no better value

Got these on sale and they are the best knicks that I've tried. Using the sizing chart, I got exactly the right size. They are very comfy. I will definitely purchase another couple of pairs when these ones wear out.

I'm 6 ft 2 inches with a 32inch waist. I bought the large size and they fit well, I wouldn't want them any tighter though.

Much better than the Route 7 ones I bought. The sizing issue seems to be sorted so no need to buy bigger.
