Awesome buy at $60 !
MicheleBeffa, Collaroy
Great value for money. Easy to operate and set up. Good alarms for zone training and nice screen size. If you really want to be picky, there are a few 'annoying' things: fairly heavy watch compared to polar (not a problem if you are used to carry weight on the wrist), doesn't have a light (annoying when you are doing sport at dusk, night). But all up, great buy.

Worth Trying
RossF, Wellington CBD
Had this for over a month now, easy to operate, no problems setting up. Was a bit weak in the distance pick up but replaced battery on the strap made a big difference. Comfortable to wear. Seems to work with other brand straps The more you play with it the more you learn about the features Really good value for money and even better on special. If just starting out with heart monitors this has everything you need.

Ticks a lot of boxes
AndrewRasmussen, Kelvin Grove
Yes, what everyone else said. Lots of features for the money. Un-intuitive interface. My primary niggle that hasn't been mentioned yet is that when it's just telling the time, it doesn't bother with seconds. It's the first digital watch I've owned that does this.

Great Value
JasonCuolahan, Colac
Has been a fantastic watch since I purchased it. Does everything I want, stopwatch, lap count and HR monitor. Added bonus of work zones and then gives handy details of run and what zone you worked in for time. I actually found it relatively easy to set up once I worked out the options. For the price I paid it has been great value.

Take the time to learn how it works
BrettTulloch, Masterton
This is one superb piece of kit, but as you can tell from other reviews, it takes some getting used to. It is probably because it has so many features that initially the menu structure seems tricky. I had it sorted within less than an hour of reading and playing. It's not as hard as you think. Doing this pays off as you will learn that you can use the stopwatch without the chest strap (despite what other reviewers say). Buy one, teach yourself how to use it and be happy - and let your performance improve. If you get one set to German, go to the bikeradar.com review and read sigma's own comments below the review, which show a short-cut to changing the language.

German to English
DennisHika, Invercargill
Great little unit, easy enough to set up and play with. The best way to change from German to English is to push and hold the bottom 2 buttons as well as the top right button for 3 seconds and there you go it reverts to english. Done.

Sigma PC15
MalcolmGraham, Papatoetoe
Great HRM, especially in terms of value for money. I've been using it nearly daily for a couple of months now, if I were to pick holes in it, little annoyances are: reverts to normal watch mode if it is without signal for long enough (not sure how long exactly) so you can't use stopwatch without the strap on; range is very limited - sometimes loses signal if I extend my arm (and if you find yourself swimming through a river crossing or something); timer pauses (but automatically restarts) when signal is lost; a couple of times it has seemed to get "stuck" on a heart rate that is obviously not right. I would still definitely buy again as all these are pretty minor issues that don't really affect its usefulness.

Sigma PC15 HRM
DerekBrooker, Hamilton North
Excellent value and good range of features compared to more expensive Polar Units. The bonus is that the chest strap also works accurately with the heart rate function on all of the Polar compatable Gym equipment at my local Gym.

Sigma
BrendanCook, ARROWTOWN
Very happy with the price (on special - and was a birthday gift too) and the quality. Hard to set up, but stumbled through. Chest strap - have to wet the back to get a good pick-up (am I too furry?). But - once all up and running (tee hee) this is a great tool to have, fits well, great quality.

Sigma Heart Rate Monitor PC 15
PhillipHoare, CROWS NEST
I am very impressed - this German product ticks all the boxes. Although a little complex to set up, it has a range of good features including HR%, lap times, stop watch and calorie burn. Outstanding value (even at $150) compared to the basic $100 Polar HRM I have been using until now.

Sigma PC15 HRM
RebeccaMiller, Rothesay Bay
Awesome watch! Ordered it and it arrived the next day! It is a bit tricky changing to English from German so for help the german word SPARCHE is language in english. Find that in the setting menu and you should be sweet! :) Also when you are setting the time using 12 hour clock means you need to put your weight in lbs while the 24 hour clock lets you use kgs :) awesome product!

4 years of use
BressonLlewell, Welcome Bay
I've been using this for 4 years without too many problem. It took a while to set up and the manual is not the clearest. Also stopwatch won't work without HR being monitored. However batteries are easy to replace and bullet proof performance after all these years.

Sigma PC15 HRM
MarkWestaway, Cashmere -ChCh
Very good! Not so impressed with my first order with T7 though. (Thus the 4 star rating.) The watch is great though. Was using a Polar till I had to find a new chest transmitter which was around $100 ?! The interface, though not thoroughly intuitive, is pretty good. Display is clear, this is a lot of product for the money, especially compared with the basic Polar.

Sigma HRM pc15
ColinMawbey, Heathcote
Very good unit for the price, the menu can not be accessed unless pressing any button for 3 seconds, the Echowell unit I had was trouble after about 6 months. The extra features I have are usable ie. lap times, total time for training purposes, HRM with zones indicating level of exercise. This unit appears to have quality built in. I used it tonight for the first time and I noticed that in the dark the stop watch display is hard to read, partly due to my eyesight.
