good pedals
JennyRichards, Waikuku Beach great pedals but big cage doesn't really do anything would recommend the ones without the big cage as they will be lighter

Awesome first time pedals
TomLions, Hamilton Although a bit expensive for first time clip ins, I don't regret buying them at all. The clip in mechanism is really easy to use, and once I fastened the cleats to my shoes properly it was really easy to clip in and out. The cage makes the pedal feel really solid and gives loads of confidence.

2000km and still going strong
JasonBye, Havelock North Good pedals. Big platform makes it easy to clip in, it guides the cleat in nicely. Also, if you fail to clip in, there is still plenty of platform to push on, which is real handy when you are trying to start off on somewhere steep or tricky. Big platform obviously means more weight, but it does mean they are really strong and hard to break. Done 2000 muddy kms on mine with no maintenance other than a squirt of oil every now and again. Bearings still run smooth, and binding is tight as ever. Would recommend to my mates.

Good solid pedal
YuliOng, JINDABYNE I've had these pedals for about 5 years now and have definitely put them through their paces. They have been awesome but I too have lost the locking nut from the side of the pedal so I now have to order one in. Paying $12 for a nut seems a bit steep, but they've still got a lot of life left in them so I'll gladly pay to get them going again.

New pedals
ScottFellingham, BALWYN NORTH I bought the pedals to replace my first set of clip in pedals that were single sided. Only used once so far but they seem to have good clearance. I may try to swap the heavy cage later for the lighter one.
