The RD-7800 features the new wide link design which is lighter, more rigid and durable. The increased rigidity stabilizes the chain as it glides up and down the sprockets. Less play means rear indexed shifting is not only quicker, more precise and reliable, but it also insures better indexing over many more road miles.
