The Cyclone Shell Jacket from Sierra Designs is lightweight, waterproof and breathable. The 2.5-layer Cyclone Fabric withstands torrential rain and endures alpine climbs or sodden scrambles, while the full seam taping keeps you dry during extended downpours. The smart design amps the performance. The hand pockets zip open and, along with Extremity Vents on the arms, allow you to dump heat during high-exertion activities. The stowable, adjustable hood keeps rain out of your eyes, and the draw-corded waist and hem can seal out drafts. Brushed tricot at the chin prevents chaffing, and there are four pockets for securing your car keys, skin wax, or a headlamp just in case.

Cyclone Fabric
A waterproof and breathable fabric with a unique inner surface treatment that gives a smooth dry  feel, providing extreme comfort during wet weather.  It has a nylon mini-ripstop face with a PU microporus waterproof/breathable coating.  The waterproof rating is 10,000mm, and the breathability is 6,000gm² /24 hours.
