This Surly disc hub is designed for single speeders of all varieties. The burly shell is machined from forged aluminium and the hub runs on a quick release chromoly bolt-on spindle that stays where you put it. Seated between the two are angular contact sealed cartridge bearings for a smooth, maintenance-free ride. The disc mount features the six-bolt international standard pattern so you won’t have any worries getting a disc to fit, and the freewheel uses a standard English thread so you can use most BMX type freewheels.
