Designed with All-Mountain riders or cautious descenders in mind the Route7 adjustable seat post allows you - with the flick of the lever to instantly drop your saddle height by 75mm - allowing you to descend or jump with the confidence that the saddle will no longer snag on your shorts or get in the way of maneuvers. When the terrain starts to level out or incline, simply operate the lever (with your weight off the saddle) and it will gently raise up to the maximum height, or anywhere in between.
Features:
75mm of fully adjustable height adjustment
Hydraulic function
Infinitely adjustable head angle (within adjustment range)
Easy to reach and operate anodized aluminium lever

Not great
GarethWett, PARKES While I only managed to get a few weeks use out of this before my bike was stolen, the movement of the post was very sticky. I lubed it up a few times, which worked for a while, but it kept going back to its sticky old self.
Further, I wouldn't recommend getting one without a remote. You lose all your momentum trying to reach under our seat to adjust the post.
It is very cheap, but I think if you're serious enough to want an adjustable seatpost, you are better off spending a bit more cash and getting a good one...

Awesome
RichardMcSlow, Emerald Fairly heavy, but well worth it on my go big bike. Tiniest amount of movement after 1/2 a dozen rides or so, nothing you notice while riding. Lever is out of the way and isn't activated on accident. Build quality looks great. Shadow chrome type outer sleev looks mint on my frame. Super easy seat adjust also. I'm a big guy, and ride lazy (too much sitting down!) Very happy thus far, hopefully will give years of trouble free use..

Supreme Value
ChrisW, Wellington CBD After trying a friends KS seatpost, I was hooked on the idea of a dropper post, but couldn't justify $300+. This Route 7 post is brilliant. The 3" drop is plenty for the terrain I ride. The seals have held up well to being ridden in mud. A remote kit would be nice, and it weighs a lot - but the extra fun to be had is worth the compromise!

Works well, reliable and bargain price!!
ChrisWinder, Glenfield I was skeptical about this one- especially considering all the issues reported with some more expensive "Big Name" brand dropper posts, but I have to say that this budget dropper post is actually very smooth and has absolutely no slop at all. It's abit heavy compared to some and doesn't have a remote, but for under $200 you can't go wrong. It's action gets smoother with use and so far it's taken a real beating for the last 2 months with no issues. A good deal- i'd give it 5 stars if there was a remote available for it and it had more range (but it's no real issue)!!
