Good material but poor fitting!  Sammi Tsegay, MELBOURNE UNIVERSITY
I normally get perfect fitting for the small size s/s route 7 jersey, but the xs l/s is one size too big. I always assumed l/s jersey would be the same fitting as the s/s just with longer sleeves. I bought the jersey on sale, just to check it out, let me just say I had too high of an expectation, given that the s/s has been great. Can't take away value for money thought. Overall not a bad product to buy.

Bought a jacket a couple weeks ago in time for the 0 degrees riding.Got it at the sale price and at that price the value is hard to beat, dunno if i'd pay full price though.Thicker and warmer than what I thought it might be which meant I could do away with the usual shower-proof jacket.I got a large which is my usual size and it fits perfectly, if you're of a longer upper body you may find the tail a bit short when extended. Sleeves are nice and long, sufficient for covering the wrists on extension. Zip has come apart at the bottom once, I've put this down to the zipper being quite fine so you need to ensure its locked in correctly before pulling up. I'd recommend this for anyone if its on special.

Good for the winter conditions  Shane W, Auckland
I measured carefully before buying and selected XL. It is perfect length in sleeves and body, excellent round shoulders, but a bit loose in the belly and arms. Having said that I've given it a good test in the wet cold and wind, and have to say it is pretty good - quite waterproof, and definitely windproof. Having a slightly loose fit is probably good as it doesn't breathe as much as a normal short-sleeve jersey. Overall quite happy with it, would definitely buy another.

In no particular oder of importance.
- Larger than expected, bought an M, could have gone for S. The sleeves are super long, I find the back comes down a good length. The waist could possibly do with less 'slack' kind of puffs out a little too much I think.
- the sleeves are also tight, so I'd imagine you will not be wearing many long sleeve shirts underneath.
- Zipper gets stuck when you try to place it in, but once in is smooth as and works fine.
- The pockets, which I somehow missed, are perfectly placed in my opinion, I don't even realise there is anything in them when riding.
- I find it incredibly comfortable and will probably also wear it as a general jersey.
- Got the Black/Yellow, love it.
- Material is a bit shinier/reflective than depicted, which is a bonus.

I am a first time Buyer of cycling type gear and from my Novice experience I got to say this is a great Top, especially for the Deal I got it.
I'm even considering buying the Black one aswell.

The quality of the materials used in this jersey are great. Much warmer than most other long sleeve jerseys due to the thin fleece layer beneath. Unfortunately I found it to be a very poor fit. I have previously worn the Torpedo 7 jerseys (XL) which are ever so slightly tighter than is ideal for me but in terms of shape are great. Hence I decided to go for a XXL in the Route 7 version. Basically everything was too large apart from the arms which were too tight. Waist was baggy and the arms were too long.

I have been buying from Torpedo7 for years, and am pretty familiar with their sizing. Size M is usually a perfect fit for me for Torpedo7 or Route7 gear. For these brands I can squeeze into an S, but it is uncomfortably tight and slightly restricts my movement.

With this in mind I purchases this Jersey in an M, only to find it is as big as most XL garments. I am quite disappointed as I am unlikely to wear it with it being such a poor fit.

Otherwise, it is a well made jersey, and great quality and value. As other feedback has already said, it is much thicker and heavier than you expect, but this can be a boon in heavy winter. Definitely not for wearing in even slightly warmer weather.

Keeping your warm  Simon mcleay, Penrose
The top is a little heavier in material than I expected, however it has proved a bonus. As the weather is getting warmer this top enables the ditching of a thermal under garment for morning trainings and just wearing the line 7 top. The size (xl) was one size up from what would normally be the optimal fit (L) but this fits perfectly. The reflective patches are also an excellent advantage to the product.
