Perfect for Auckland Winter
CarlMortimer, Browns Bay
Bought these gloves a year ago for winter riding. They have worn well and are perfect for the Auckland winter. Fingers did get cold the other morning at 3 degrees, but soon warmed up. Note that the gloves don't have any padding.

Not good for freezing temperatures
CraigT, Sydney
These gloves are reasonably priced when on sale. Though they are a bit thin and feel like gardening gloves. Riding at +30 km/h through 0 degrees this morning, my palms were cold in them, as well as my fingers! I'd say these are ok to around 6-10 degrees, or for a slow commute. But to avoid numb fingers on a serious ride at freezing temperatures, spend some more money & buy something else.

pretty good gloves
DarrenHall, ChCH
Was a bit skeptical but got em on special. I normally get really cold hands. Pleasantly surprised. They performed well at 5-10 degrees. Gave them a minus 1 frost test two mornings this week and they held up pretty well. Hands were chilly at first but didn't get cold and weren't chilly for long. Nice and toasty by the time I arrived. Only prob i have is sizing. My hand was around L but went to XL and it's a bit tight between thumb and forefinger. May pay to consider the next size up.

Not for below zero
DuaneJusaitis, NARRABUNDAH
For me these gloves are only suitable or temperatures down to perhaps 2-3 degrees C, much below that and the hands will not be kept warm, perhaps it's just my circulation, but thought I'd let others know. They are quite a small fit too, I normally take an M glove, and the M here has shorter fingers than most.

Quite Warm/Sturdy
MatthewBrosnahan, Te Aro - Wgtn
Pretty good gloves. Not as thick as they appear in the picture, but do keep your hands warm except when temp dips to freezing. Great Service from Torpedo.

They're good for the price
AilersLee, Christchurch
They're great for the price, but not as good as my Specialized that it's replacing. But then, my Specialized is about RRP$60. They're thin, so anything under 8 degrees might cause some fingers to suffer a bit. The Specialized glove has gel pad at the base of the palm, and thicker leather. It looks better in the picture than real life. As I said before, it's a pair of good glove for the Special price. For cool weather, not cold!!!

GREAT GLOVES
TobySanderson, Petone
I unfortunatly didn't get these when they were on sale, and they were still well worth the money. Great sizing and well warm enough. Tips of fingers are starting to fluff up already (after a few wears). But in general great product and as usual great service and spead from T7.

I'm Impressed!
PaulLavery, Christchurch
I've had some really crap gloves over the years and some costing a small fortune, all promising great things but never delivering! At this price, I certainly wasn't expecting too much from the Defroster but to be honest, I've been surprised by how good they actually are! On my 20 minute commute to work at -2degC my hands have been fine and no numb pinkies, nice and toasty!
Size wise, I prefer a snug fitting glove and got just that by sticking to the recommended sizing and going for a L.
The only real issue I have with these gloves is the feel of the protruding fingertip seams. Other than that, they're great and do exactly what I want them to do.

Defroster Gloves
AndrewHood, Lower Hutt
Fit seems to match the sizing guide. Some of the internal seams could be finished better but overall a decent glove for the money.

Great
MichaelCassidy, BANGOR
Keeps nice & warm on single degree Sydney mornings. Teamed with R7 legwarmers, DSend baselayer and R7 windproof vest it's all I need. Sizing was good for L - good wrist coverage. Highly recommended.

Great gloves
TomGalbraith, MOREE
I bought these gloves needing protection from the wind on early morning rides and they do the job well. The grip is good and they are a snug fit. The terry towel section on the the forefinger is very useful for dealing with a runny nose without stopping. Highly recommend these gloves.

Perfect
MB, Perth
Great gloves - worn for 2hrs in 5C weather at fast pace and kept the chill away without overheating.
Grip is no problem, and the fingers are nice and nimble to allow for easy braking and steering.
No complaints.

Sizing again!
JohnThreadgill, Rotorua Central
Usual problems with T7 sizing. Seems so common with clothing from this website. I'm usually a L but after barely being able to get my hands in the gloves decided to send them back and go for the next size up. XL was a way better fit.
Not super warm gloves but should see me through the frosty morning 10 minute commuter ride. With a pair of polyprops squeezed on on underneath they should be fine.
Great value at the special price..

Good for being on special
ManueleRuiu, ASHFIELD
At half the price it was worth getting. Don't think it is a cold winter glove though. It keeps out some wind but my hands and fingers still got cold. And it is by all means not a wet weather glove.

Warm gloves
CaraFahey, Nawton
Good warm gloves. More of a boys glove though, they fit really well across my hand, but the fingers are too short. But then I have long fingers so I'm used to short gloves! They do fit very snuggly around the wrist though, and keep my hands toasty warm. I just wish I could find gloves that fit me width and length wise.... one day...

Warm, functional
MattWong, Auckland CBD
Bought at the special price, they're warm and functional. Used them on a 10-12 degree, wet day for an hour road ride, and the hands stayed warm. Large size is quite roomy, but I figure that's a good thing, as I could slip on a polypro glove underneath if it gets really chilly.

Awesome Gloves

Nice Gloves
LawrenceSmith, Chrischurch
Being a huge fan of NZO gear I had to have these gloves, 2 pair in fact, especially at the Special price. The fit is great, they seem really well made. Yet to take them riding but I'm sure they will be awesome. The other pair is for skiing.

IMHO
PaulBagrie, New Brighton
Warm and basic. Some of the internal fabric joins haven't been stitched/flushed well, but they're still comfortable enough. Perfect fit by sizing chart, maybe people need to measure their hands properly? Buy them on special, cheap as chips.

Nzo Defroster Gloves
AlanTaylor, Hamilton East
Minimum wrist cover and you still may get chilly fingers on a frosty morning. No gel pad on the palm for those of you spending a longer time on the bike. But still an adequate glove for the price. Go for the next size up - I needed the XL.

Sizing problem?
ALROSS, Westmorland
These don't seem to be really warm/thick, but should be OK once you get going. Order one size bigger than the size chart, I was exactly Medium and they are too small - sending back for replacement.
