Epic by Nextec fabric is water-resistant, windproof and dries quickly. It is less likely to ’wet out’ and as a result you stay warm and dry. Epic by Nextec is also lightweight, packs down to a small volume, is soft and comfortable to wear and has a water-repellant finish that lasts for the life of the product.

Nextec, the company behind the technology, uses a unique and patented process that puts the fabric performance features inside the fabric, not just on the outside. It is here that they found the key to dramatically improving fabric performance. Using precise polymer placement, this patented technology works two ways. It encapsulates the individual fibres with an ultra-thin polymer film and it precisely places a durable, breathable barrier within the fabric, between fibre bundles. This process creates the highly breathable and comfortable fabric called Epic by Nextec.
