The Pro3 Race has one of the lowest rolling resistances of any commercial racing tyre.
More than 1 million kilometres were ridden and raced by Michelin teams and developers to bring you their best road racing tyre yet. With an impressive 40% extra grip over it’s predecessor, the Pro Race 3 is also alleged to increase speed of up to 5kph in certain situations.
By incorporating the puncture resistant HDPP layer within the casing and minimising rubber thickness, the Pro³ Race has around a 9% weight saving over its predecessor. The Pro³ Race utilises Silica rubber technology to maximise grip - around 20% better wet grip than the Pro² Race - whilst maintaining durability.

Great all round tire
MatthewAndrew, Whangarei Great tyre for racing, fast rolling, plenty of grip, both dry and wet. I get at least 5000km out of these. They do cut up easy in the wet round town though but hasn't caused any troubles. Have used for years (prorace 2 and 3) along with other brands and recommend the pro race 3.

The Best
MorrisDalla Costa, Griffith These tyres are fantastic in both dry and wet.. I've been using these tyres for years and wouldn't use anything else. I don't have puncture problems and do high k's both endurance vents and crit racing. If you do purchase them, download the tyre pressure chart from Michelin and run the CORRECT tyre pressures.

PERFORMANCE tyre
RRacer, Perth These are a performance tyre, best suited to racing. They are not a commuter tyre. Commuters - use gatorskins.

Great but...
StephenBarker, Leichhardt These tyres came standard on my new Giant TCR1 - a great performance tyre I agree but more puncture prone than I expected, I noticed when repairing the front tyre again on the weekend that the rear is worn through so it seems they are good for about 2500kms of commuting. I am going to try something else this time?

A bit puncture prone
RacerX, ADELAIDE I agree great tyre, but once they start puncturing they don't stop!! The final straw was three in one 50km ride. Talk about using up your favours with your buddies. Great tyre and cos they were on special not too bad considering. Would not recommend if the roads are crap and there is rubbish on the edges of the roads. Great for races, when they work they are great!
