DTC - Dual Tread Compound - The most advanced combination of rubber compounds for maximum tyre performance, incorporating a high density (60A) rubber down the centre of the tyre and a low density (50A/55A) in the cornering knobs. The rider is rewarded with low rolling resistance for fast acceleration and climbing while gripping the corners like flypaper DTC - (L3RPRO down the center & Stick-E rubber on the sides).

Great in the wet
TeamWombat, Gembrook Run these in the 2011 Garmin 24 hour. Great in the Wet and Mud. Cornered like on rails no slipping. Ride them hard and fast and they will stick to the trail. Perfect for winter riding in Victoria.

PeterMolloy, Buderim I have used these for a few years and they really are one of the best tyres money can buy. Bit slow on the road but you shouldn't really be on the road.. and last better than any other tyre I have had. Top choice for recreational riders like me and even the faster guys

Hope and expectations
MichaelBrown, WARAMANGA Ok. I have heard good things about this tyre - other magazine reviews and here (therefore tentative 4 star rating). Have just bought two new tryes. I have the Angry Dr in Sept and then Scott 24 Hr in Oct, so will report back after that. Looking forward to some new grip and awesone rides. PS - also you can't beat the great special price from Torpedo7.

The Best Grip
NathanGibson, Palmerston These tyres are the best. I have had mine on about a year and they are still giving me all the traction I need. They will grip anything that you will come across on a track. But.... they do wear out very quickly as a back tyre.
