Great value
SIMONADDISON, Waterview
These are a good value tyre which become an absolutely awesome value tyre when on sale. I've been buying and replacing them as needed for about 2 yrs.
The first generation T7 has were quite puncture prone in my experience, but these were replaced by a 'puncture breaker' version which while still able to pick up the odd flat, are better thanks to a kevlar strip inside. Nice n fast if you pump them up to 100.

Smooth and cheap!
JonM, Perth
Fitted the 1.25's to my MTB and are super smooth. First time using slicks, impressive. Didn't have the right tubes on hand, stuffed the oversize old ones in there and worked great, running at 100psi. Have since ordered correct tubes, much easier to fit. Also ordered a set for my girlfriend.

Good value
ChrisW, Brooklyn -Wgtn
I use these 1.75" tyres for the weekday commute in Wellington city on my MTB. They are a bit tight to get on and off compared to the dirt tyres, but the smooth speed is worth the effort. I have had no punctures in 300 kms of curb jumping rides. Running them at 80 psi makes me fly. Do not attempt to use on wet grass or gravel, you will get a muddy bum!

Fantastic Tyre!
JamesCuddihy, Rockhampton, CQ
I am 125kg and ride on roads and cycle paths. Our large feral bogan population ensure there is always glass, gravel and assorted other crap all over the roads! After about 150km and six weeks I have had no punctures, even when glass cut the tube of my significantly lighter Wife riding behind me on Maxxis slicks and the same tubes at the same pressure. With these tyres in 1.25 and the Innova tubes at 100PSI there is so much grip in the dry I could ride over sewer covers and gravel around corners with no worries. Very easy to change on and off too. Highly recommended!

Bump bump bump - false economy
TimPaton, BALLARAT
Bulges and blisters in the sidewalls. You get what you pay for.
Seems most of the others below me got straight ones. Good for them. I won't be playing that lottery again, because my time is worth more than the saving.
Fitted it to the back of my cargo bike... with hub gears, hub brake, mudguard and chainguard. Not a trivial job to drop that wheel out. Now I have to do it again and fit a tyre that more closely resembles a circle.

value
PatrickFarnell, KEYSBOROUGH
I bought a 1.75 and a 1.5 in these tyres because it seemed about the cheapest slicks around, especially in the 1.5" size. I was then worried reading the reviews here about hard to fit, and puncture prone. I can't understand anyone finding them hard to fit, I have done two, mounts and one dismount on them, and was so easy I didn't even use a lever. As for punctures, I've only had them on a month, so far so good on punctures, but the deep centre groove in the tyres, with thin rubber only beneath it, does look vulnerable, both to objects and to the tyrepentrating s hardening as it ages. Likewise, only ride on roads and sandy gravelly trails, not real rough riding. When you first fit them and test them, they do seem to have a very sticky adhesion of pebbles, which is also worrying, but this corrects after a few days use running in.

Hard to put on, but good value for $$$
RyanThomas, Albany
Tyres arrived a day after ordering. obviously trying to squeeze 2.35 into the 1.75 tyres was quite hard, but even with 1.5 tubes it was still hard!! But once they're on they're great!! Great value for money!!

Great tyre at a bargain price
JeffHall, Mackenzie
I found it easy to fit these tyres, a tiny bit tight but with a little extra effort they snapped onto the rim just fine. I have now racked up a couple of rides on them, mainly road but some gravel also and theyy haven't missed a beat. I was so impressed I bought a spare pair while they were on special. Great service from T7 also, as usual.

Great tyre, great price
RobMcNeur, Avonside
I swapped my old mud tyres for these recently for city commuting, 10 minutes to take the old ones off and replace with new slicks and tubes, been running great ever since.
They are fast, smooth, good handling in the wet (lots of that recently), no punctures since (3 weeks so far), generally very happy with them. Not as fast as my road bike, but MUCH better than the old nobblies for the road.

Not for trail river use
DavidClayton, Adelaide
1.75" @ 50psi
I was initially impressed with this tyre - an immediate improvement in speed and reduction in rolling resistance. I commute to and from work on an off of road river trail - it is compacted rail for most of the way.
The first day I rode in to work - on my journey home the rear tyre burst I had an explosive puncture - instant deflation. I repaired the tube and rode to work again the next day - the tyre itself tore on the way in - a 3 cm tear. As recommended by other users, I'll be seeking a reinforced kevlar tyre to replace these.

Not for commuting
DuaneJusaitis, NARRABUNDAH
1.50 @ 60-65psi. These tyres are quite soft, and seem quite squishy when cornering. They were pretty difficult to get on and off, however I was using Sun DXC-2 rims.
I wasn't really all that happy with these in the end, probably fine for just riding to the shops or around the city, but any serious commuters should stay away from them.
These tyres are not too bad, if you don't ride anywhere near thorns or glass. If you do, don't even waste your time or money. Find something with kevlar or some kind of protection!

Mixed results
PaulEvans, Canterbury
1.75 @ 50 psi. The tyres went on easy and instantly made the ride smoother and faster. Used daily for 12 weeks on road and easy dry trails without any grief but then a single puncture left a rip in the central tread groove rendering the tyre un-usable. Plain unlucky or poor design? For $15 it's worth giving it go.

PeterScully, DANDENONG
I've clocked over 1000km and they are going great. Straighten up after a short while and corner like a champ, wet or dry.
I only ride bike trails and road, so these are perfect.
1.75" 40psi front - fitted easily.

Brilliant
BlairHocking, COBURG NORTH
I bought these to put on an old bike I've done up to sell as a commuter. Now I'm thinking of keeping them for my new commuter.... they go on easier, and run straighter than my $40 Michelins! Bargain at 16 bucks.

Superb value solution
RobbieB, Uralla
Now very happy with the 1.75" tyres, particularly when purchased on special. To persuade them onto my MTB bike wheels I ended up using the handle on a small shifter spanner and a leather glove against the wheel rim - just take your time. They were tighter than a duck's bum at 10 fathoms, just ask any duck, but it was really worth it to get them on. Roll great but a wee bit "sketchy" on some gravel roads - just take some spare underwear and you will be fine. Many thanks T7 for hassle free service and prompt delivery, on ya !

Great value
JuWong, ROWVILLE
I can't believe how much extra work I was doing with my old knobblies, even if they were semi-slick. These were soooo much quieter and quicker. Haven't had any punctures yet, fingers crossed. On special, they are unbelievable value.

INNOVA MTB Slick
TroyFischer, WASLEYS
Happy with these tyres so far. Weren't too bad to fit despite some of the other reviewers having trouble. I can now go 10% faster than with my old knobbly MTB tyres - very happy with that. For the price couldn't ask for more really.

Great value commuter tyre
MattWhite, Altona Meadows
Over 5000km ridden on the one pair of these during 2009 commuting in Melbourne on road and bike paths. Fantastic value for money. Roll well. Currently using the 1.25's and have also used the 1.50's.
Make sure though your rims will easily allow them to be fitted, as others have mentioned they're tough to get on or off the wider your rims are. Can be a bit of an issue if you're on the road trying to change a flat rather than at home.

no good
juliantoscano, Fitzroy
I've bought a few of these tyres over the last 2 years and the build quality is very inconsistent. Sometimes an awesome tyre, sometimes uneven and super tight on the rim and can puncture easily in urban communting. Worth a gamble for the price though.

INNOVA MTB Slick Tyre review
Jean-LucHuynh, SYDNEY
You get what you pay for...For the price the tyre does a good job. The biggest issue I have about this tyre is that it's a B!tch to put on and take off the rim. I snapped 2 tyre levers and pinched a tube trying to get the thing on. I snapped another lever trying to get the damned thing off to change the tube. I'd hate to get a flat along the road with tyre on. You'll definitely to have some good quality steel tyre levers for this tyre. Also I'm not sure if these tyres are directional. There are no markings on them to advise otherwise.

ZanePuna, RACEVIEW
Had no problems putting these on and the 1.50/1.75 tube fitted them perfectly. Great grip around corners and still feel confident on the loose gravel.

No Complaints
JeremyLogan, Australian Defence Forces
I could not fault this tyre after using them on my $300 bike for the Tour de Timor. I rode the 400km using the same set. I had intended only using them for a couple of stages then changing to a more suitable tyre for the changing terrain but stuck with them. Highly recommended for roads and hard pack on a social ride but they proved to be durable enough for even the roughest terrain imaginable. They were difficult to put on at first but loosened up and became easy to put on.
