Video Review:
Designed to be used for every day riding, the Ghost SE 1800 features a comfortable riding position, with a lightweight aluminium frame, powerful Shimano V-brakes and 24 speed Shimano gears.
The Schwalbe 2.1 inch tyres are designed to be fast rolling but with high grip for off road or gravel excursions. Two water bottle holders can be mounted to the frame (one is supplied with the bike) as well as threaded mounting holes in the frame to attach a rear luggage carrier, perfect for the morning commute or trip to school. Alloy bear-trap style pedals provide secure grip for any type of shoe and the gear shifting is all done from the handlebar with the Shimano Alivio STI levers, without the need for you to change your hand position; this means you can concentrate on the trail or road ahead.
Both the front and rear wheels feature quick release hubs allowing you to remove the wheels for transportation or security tool free. The front suspension fork features 76mm of travel and has a lock out function to make riding on smooth surfaces even more efficient. The saddle is a performance design and features pressure point cut outs and a comfortable padded cover. Equally, the hand grips are made from a two compound rubber to offer great comfort and long life.
The backbone of the Ghost SE range is the light 7005 T6 aluminium chassis. The "Lightweight Touring Series" (LTS) frame offers relaxed touring biking on demanding terrain but is also suitable for daily use. Disc brake dropouts and numerous gussets on the perfectly processed frame document a lot of eye for detail and at the same time allow further upgrades. Features which are a guarantee for many years of mountain biking.

About Ghost:
With innovation and value key to their success, Ghost is Germany's leading bicycle brand.
In 1993 when Klaus Möhwald and Uwe Kalliwoda made the first Ghost mountain bike, they could have never anticipated the success of the Ghost brand. 13 years later, Ghost has matured to a middle-class enterprise with 45 steady employees and has left visible tracks in mountain bike development. And in spite of all innovation and technical advances, one thing did not get lost with Ghost: The love of the bike and the passion for the essentials.
The result: Bikes that arouse enthusiasm and with a price-performance ratio which is hard to beat.
