It has two main compartments, the larger of the two featuring a hydration bladder compatible sleeve, and the smaller a personal organiser with a zippered mesh pocket. While the Substance is a great pack for anyone with an active lifestyle, it will be especially attractive to those who skateboard. A set of velcro straps are able to hold a skateboard snug to the front of the pack, and abrasion-resistant fabric and strategically placed padding mean your grip-tape won’t wear through the pack, and the Substance will be so comfortable you’ll be incredulous to the fact that there’s a skateboard strapped to your back.
