Campagnolo’s 2008 entry level medium profile Vento wheels have been improved with a 250g weight reduction over the 2005 version. The aluminium rims have a 24mm profile and the spoking is 24 laced G3 on the front and 27 spoke G3 lacing on the back wheel. The spokes are in 2mm/1.5mm butted stainless steel. The hubs have oversize bodies and flanges and are fitted with high precision bearings, and the freewheel body and the pawl carrier have been redesigned to be housed in a single aluminium part for maximum lightness.
