Nice bag, but has bladder problems  Peter McKinlay, BALGOWNIE
For $20, this is a great little bag to throw your wallet, keys and phone into, along with your patch repair gear and whatever.

However, the bladder leaves a rather nasty plastic-y taste in the water, as previously noted. Add to that that mine constantly leaked, the valve was jammed shut, and yesterday the thread that retained the cap onto the bladder separated and made my lower back look rather damp.

I bought this pack a few months ago, the pack itself is reasonable quality, and is appropriately priced, but as far as a hydration packs go it's not flash.

The above review is correct it does have the handy little pockets but the bladder had an awful taste to it that I could not get rid of. I had the bladder filled with water for 2 weeks changing it up to 3 -5 times per day and still the horrible taste remained; it was a really plastic foul chemical taste. I found it to be unusable.

I only ever used water in it, maybe cordial would mask the taste?

The bite valve was next to useless and leaked onto my leg from the first time I used it, & it needed a cable tie to keep it attached to the tap, otherwise when you opened or closed it otherwise you had to use 2 hands to stop the bite valve coming off the pull-tap.

When Torpedo7 had the Camelbak M.U.L.E as the weekly special out for $69.95 I thought I would give it a go as I always thought they were overpriced at the normal price. What a difference, this pack is awesome! The bladder had no foul taste straight out of the box, the zips work better, the harness to wear the pack is far more comfortable, padded pouch thats waterproof for phone/music player.

After buying both packs I would advise everyone to go straight for the Camelbak you will be much much happier with your purchase.

This hydration pack is great! It has two small pockets at the back which can fit your Phone, Wallet, keys, etc or any Multitools.. Nothing too big though.
Also has a port for a MP3 player so you can stick your headphones through this hole, really handy!

Great Pack and great price!
