Anitex Technical Fabric
Anitex Technical Fabric is outstandingly water resistant, windproof and has high levels of breathability with a specially designed hydrophilic membrane. It is extremely durable, lightweight and soft, with the hydrophilic layers transporting perspiration effectively away from the body.
Fully Taped Seams
Every seam on the garment is taped for maximum waterproofing as the tape prevents water ingress through stitching holes along seams. It is a far more labour intensive process to create although it does deliver superior performance.
Snow Skirts
A snow skirt creates an internal seal around the waist preventing snow entering your jacket when you stack it in the powder. It seals you in against the snow and wind for greater comfort.
Hood
Designed to fit well to shield against wind driven snow in stormy conditions. Can be adjusted to fit snugly around the face but maintain good visibility especially when wearing goggles. Removable hoods offer greater flexibility to the rider.
Pack friendly panel and pocket layout
Animal jackets are designed to take into consideration riding with a pack - so pockets and zips etc still function and are placed for ease of access. There are plenty of external pockets for stowing all your kit.
Chamois wipe
Animal have included an attached chamois wipe to buff up your lenses and clean away the muck. The chamois can be placed externally so you can clean as you go.
Heat venting
Zips under the armpits (pit zips) and around the thigh area allow you to ’dump’ heat and stay cool. On warm days or under excessive heat loading (when hiking etc) venting heat out and letting cool air in increases rider comfort levels. Most venting zips are strategically placed in key body heat generating areas.
