The 4FRNT Ski + Binding package has all the new school technology that progressive skiers need. Twin-Tip All-Mountain design skis combined with bindings specifically designed with safe backwards landings in mind - hit any run and attempt any trick with total confidence.
4FRNT is a rider owned company, not just a marketing ploy that is often used in the industry. Every pro athlete on 4FRNT's squad owns the direction of the brand, marketing initiatives, and ski research and development.
4FRNT is committed to developing the freeride skiing segment by focusing solely on freeride skiing. 4FRNT desires to be the first ski company that pops into peoples' minds when freeride is mentioned. The company was founded by a crew of professional skiers that all looked at the mountain differently. Freeride is more than just twin tips even though new school skiing is commonly associated with twin tip skis. Twin tips are there to help you ski switch, but you don't have to ski backwards. Freeride is beyond novelty and is now gaining a whole new generation of rebels who don't mind cruising around the mountain creating something from nothing, laughing, and having a good time.
This ski is now shaped with a progressive sidecut allowing the ski to dive into turns with ease and still maintain incredible stability at high speeds. Built tuff with a sandwich construction, full length wood core and surrounded by a full wrap oversized edge.

4FRNT Deadbolt 412 Bindings
It's not hard to imagine that mechanical engineers at many binding companies have a hard time getting their heads around the fact that ever-growing segment of the skiing population lands backward. Enter 4FRNT, the rider-owned cooperative company. According to Matt Sterbenz, co-owner and 4FRNT founding member, "VIST, an Italian binding manufacturer, approached us about selling and marketing a binding that they had made for Nordica. They wanted to get into the freeride market and needed a partner that understood the culture."
The 4FRNT Deadbolt takes elements from the Nordica binding and customizes it to suit the needs of freeriders with interesting design tweaks. Many recreational bindings feature upwards release at the toe, a function that can save knee-tweaking ACL injuries. However, the binding can also release prematurely, a disastrous event in a freestyle comp. The Deadbolt toe can be "locked-out" to disable the upwards release mechanism, if desired. Perhaps the most freeride-specific innovation is the unique dual-spring brake that will not inadvertently lower the brake arm below the sidewall of the ski on switch landings. The heelpiece also features an oversized alloy baseplate with increased thickness to support the demand on forward pressure. 4FRNT utilizes wide brakes for big-mountain twin-tips and doesn't charge extra for them.
Key advantages
- Easy to use
- Light weight
- Takes a beating
- Lockout available
- 104 mm Brake Standard
DIN Setting:
(This is the setting the user inputs on the binding to control the release of the binding in a crash)
TOE PIECE SPECS
TSC TM Twin Spring Control - The control of the lateral jaws movement by the spring assures excellent results as fas as performance and safety are concerned. The secondary spring is responsible for the vertical jaws movement. The height can then be adjusted automatically to your boots toe height (ASA - Automatic Sole Adjustment)
X-Key Joint - The exclusive guide's system of the jaws, sensible to all movements, guarantees the immediate release in any kind of falls;
- The mechanism, driven by the three Axis Pivot, assures minimal friction in every condition
HEEL PIECE SPECS
NO-DRAG brake system - Hinged mechanism developed to avoid brake drag, often found as a result to switch skiing in soft snow
BOILERPLATE alloy baseplate - Full length alloy plate to secure screws and mount
- Increased thickness to support the demand on forward pressure
REMOVABLE heel lever - A feature geared to increase the life of your new Deadbolts
