The SeaSense Twisted Nylon is constructed from rugged 100% three-strand twisted nylon fibres. Professionally hand spliced this premium product has more flexibility than permanent dock lines. The stretch in nylon absorbs shocks and will be resistant to boat and dock cleat damage.
Nylon is the staple for docklines. It is strong, stretchy, won’t stiffen with age and is UV resistant. Even with the immense and sudden pressures placed on lines, nylon outperforms other materials. Nylon will last the distance and the selling point is, it’s cheaper than other “fancy” products.
