another T7 bargain scott spackman, BAULKHAM HILLS
When these came out on Special I thought I'd try them, albeit with some reservation. I followed the reviews and got the next size up. They fitted perfectly, and were as comfortable as my 'brand name' bibs.
Tested them with a 75k ride on the fixie with no complaints.
I'd even buy them at the usual price of $59.99, but don't tell Torpedo7 that...

When on sale these bibs are a bargain Michael Ruban, MELBOURNE
I have two sets of these bibs and two pairs of knicks and I reckon for what I paid they are great value.
Sure they are not the best for my 7hr weekend rides or any stage racing that I do but for that I have more suitable (and considerably more expensive) bibs.
However, for my 1 hour spin/RPM classes, my commute to work (30-40 min each way) and for a ride along the river with my family and friends (which seldom goes for more than an hour) I find these bibs comfortable, effective and well suited.
They certainly appear to last quite well and they have helped me preserve the life of my more expensive gear.
I certainly get more than $25 value out of my T7 bibs/nicks so to me at the sale price they are a bargain.

Great for rides up to 1 hour David Z, Perth
I am new to riding and commute 1/2 hour each way everyday. So far these bibs have been great. I found the adjusted sizing chart very useful and they fit well (maybe a little loose).
So on my commute and weekend rides I alternate these with another pair (to air them out) and have had no problems with the chamois or chafing. Its not the best chamois but it works. And the shorts were cheap. Great value here.

Almost Great Andrew Rose, Boronia
These are my first set of bib-knicks and I have been very happy with them. They are comfortable and a great fit for me, although initially I found the tag annoyed me so a pair of scissors solved the problem.
My gripe is that the bib part is the same material as the shorts. This reduces air flow around my core and causes me to get a bit warm. If the bibs had a more breathable material I would have given them five stars. This is is only a negative in the warmer months, but unfortunately would stop me from wearing it on hot days. It would also be handly if the bib was a little lower for when nature calls.
Be sure to order a size larger that you wear in other brands of bike gear. I have always worn a large but have had to get this in XL (same as the standard T7 knicks) - if you already have a set of T7 knicks that fit, then order the bib in the same size.
I have found the chamois to be fine. Admittedly I have never really tried a high-end set of knicks so a little hard for me to compare objectively. But compared to similar level garments I reckon the chamois is fine.
Overall I reckon the outfit (especially when on special) is an absolute bargain and I have no problems recommending it.
Abrasive stitching - ouch Andrew McCoy, Mount Waverley
Sorry, I can't recommend these shorts.
When not active, the fit and comfort of the bib shorts is fine. Unlike other reviewers I don't have a problem with the chamois. However, I found the seams on the joins of the panel to be extremely abrasive - the seams stand proud of the fabric on the inside, and seem to be stitched in a thread which is a close relative to fishing line. I quickly developed a 'gravel' rash on my backside under the seam line, even in a places that was not weight bearing.
T7 I recommend you use flat stitching in softer thread in future.

GREAT STUFF Jean-Marc Maulguet, CAMPBELLTOWN
Fit is really comfortable, this is my second pair of T7 knicks and I can't fault the comfort of the either pair and the chamois so far has been not been a problem.
Grab 'em when they are on sale!!

Sweet as Ian Holm, RIVERHILLS
I have 2 pairs of the 09 shorts (which I think look great and are comfortable for me) and just received my bib shorts on sale and love them. I have some $250 shorts from another famous brands and I prefer the T7 Bibs - going to get a second pair - fantastic value!!

Great product! Jon Hammond, Nedlands
Fits really well and they look great.
Haven't had any problems with chamois discomfort - quite the opposite I found them nice and comfortable.
also disappointed with the chamois Joe Noone, SEMAPHORE
I bought 3 pairs of the shorts, I commuted 50 kms a day and after loving the 2008 torpedo shorts, assumed the 2009 version would be just as good but the chamois is terrible, first time I have had a sore arse in years, the fit of the shorts is fine, although not as long as the 2008, but the chamois is useless, may try to replace the chamois or even return they are unwearable.
Disappoointed Bradley Adriaanse, RESERVOIR
I recently bought a pair and have been bitterly disappointed. The fit is excellent. The chamois is the let down. The chamois is abrasive and rough. Before use I applied a quality chamois creme, this made no difference. The comparison with the route 7 chamois is chalk and cheese.
There is always a bit of risk in buying online, I have always been satisfied with T7's products. Having bought clothing, glasses, my helmet, bike tools, etc. These shorts, and an Nzo jersey (where the zipper broke after 2 wears) is very disappointing.
It will be very helpful and open to display a pic of the chamois, as you do with the route 7 shorts. If this had been done I would not have bought the shorts.
