Fine in the rain... T Ko, Thornbury
I've had my light for over a year and ride every (week)day... rain has not been a problem. Still going strong.
Good visibility from the sides as well.

This light is cheap, cheap, cheap but beware, with this light you get what you pay for. Yes it is bright but expect it to fail at the first hint of rain. It has such a course adjustment resulting in having to mount it upside down to get the desired angle, therefore exposing the totally unwaterproof s/w to the spray from the rear wheel. Mine lasted 10 minutes on my first wet ride. It is also very large considering today's technology.

Very good for visibility, you wouldn't want to drop it though but I guess that is to be expected at such a cheap price.
