HUGE improvement over regular shorts for spin class at gym. Chamois user friendly after 2nd wash. Comfortable. No heat or dampness issues in class. Rinse clean in the shower. Only regret, I didn't buy 2 pair !.


A Bit Unhappy With These RobMcMillan, KEPERRA
The padding is most definitely nothing like what is pictured. It is a just an uncontoured piece of light brown coloured material with roughly the same shape as the blue pictured piece. The padding is certainly on the inadequate side and the fit of the shorts is either sloppy or the sizing is larger than I'm used to. They feel loose on me in comparison to the same sized Netti's I have but they do stay in place. They breathe well, they don't itch, scratch or otherwise annoy and they don't chaffe. If you're commuting daily for less than 20kms each way I'd say these will suit you fine but for the longer rides I'd suggest you try something else. But honestly for the Special price I don't believe you can complain.

Bought one pair on special. Liked em, so bought another 2 pairs next time they came on special. 3 pairs for $60, that's hard to beat. Padding is thick, which I like because it's more comfy. The padding is a little shorter than normal in the front, but there is still enough to cushion all contact points. Not an issue on a mountain bike, but if you are hunched over a road bike for hours it could be. That said, I always wear mine on my local 2hr road route with no issues. I always wear them under my baggy shorts so I don't care what they look like. First pair has done at least 1000km, and stitching is all still perfect. Only real downside was that on first wear before washing, the chamois was a bit stiff and rubbed my inner thigh raw. After first wash the problem went away. Can't beat them for the price. I shan't be buying expensive ones again, these are fine.

The size of these shorts was hard to match. I got the Large as that is the size in all other brands and they are a bit large for me. I am 6'1" and have a 34" waist. The chamois does not seem to be in the right place and the crotch size seems unusual. Produced some chaffing on longer rides.

Great value shorts (I got them on special). Agree with others that they can feel a bit like a nappy (don't look that way though), but at this cost who cares. My jean size is 34, and the large fit me perfectly. Would recommend.

Pretty happy with these, only my second pair of knicks though - they are way better than the Fluid knicks from Anaconda which are extremely poor quality compared to these Route 7 shorts. The pad seems a little bit big - but it's still comfortable and does the job. The fit is good - Large size fits perfectly, normally I'd be between a L and XL- I'm a size 36 in jeans with bulky thighs. Silicon leg grippers do a good job. Overall good value for money when on sale compared to other cheap knicks.

Despite the chamois being a little inferior to the top end products in this line, the stitch quality, fit, comfort and performance is excellent for me. This is my second pair and when the special comes up again I'll definitely purchase more.

Not bad as a back up pair of knicks. Bulky in the crutch and seem to gather up in the front. The material seems to have stretched with use, don't fit as well now as when new.
