Very Bright Barry Morley, Roleystone Excellent lighting and the battery fits snugly into a standard drink bottle cage. Normal riding is done easily using just the flood light and only in speedy tricky sections do I need the spotlight. When you use both lights the battery lasts about an hour I've found. But I have done a 3 hour ride using predominatly the flood light and its started to get dim by the end of it. Really I think these lights are brilliant and great value.
Easy install, bright lights Rob Salvatore, Altona Meadows These are the first set of 'real' lights I've had on a bike. They are easy to install and bright enough to ride by.
It would have been better if the switch was a multi position switch so that you could control both lights from the one location... the way the two lights are operated seperately makes me scratch my head. Why do it that way??
I don't have long commutes so I haven't tested the battery life, but for the first charge cycle, I did run the battery down with both lights on and it died in about an hour.
Good product and absolutely ridiculously good value at the discount price. :)
Heavy Cory Brooks, PINKENBA Great lights but the battery pack is heavy so they're not fun up-hill. They have survived torrential rain but make sure the lens caps are screwed on tight and it's a good idea to put o'ring grease on the seal.
The light produced is fantastic.
Great Lights....but..... Marcel Geelen, Bentleigh East These lights are great, easy to adjust, very bright. It would be nice if the battery lasted a bit longer.
The only comment is that the battery will only fit into the aluminum frame drink bottle holders - not the round ones that are common these days. I just bought the Zefal from T7 for about $8 and it fits fine.
First set of bright lights... Doug White, ALTONA MEADOWS I finally upgraded from the usual commuter LED lights and am impressed with the brightness and effect on drivers. Haven't taken this off-road yet but for commuting it is more than enough to cause car drivers to pause/stop at intersections. The flood light is bright enough to ride by - rarely use the spot. Runtimes are good enough for my daily commute of 2hrs. Haven't noticed the additional 1kg weight. Good solid construction and after 1 hr of runtime, the casing is only warm to touch. Good value for money under $100 mark.
