Due to an internal promotion, we are on the hunt for a multi-talented team player to fill the role of Web Content Team Leader for the Torpedo7 business unit. The successful applicant needs to have great product knowledge across our key sales categories, a very good eye for detail, excellent communication skills and proven experience managing a small team. This role is pivotal to the success of the business and decisions made at this level have the ability to positively (and negatively) affect the profitability of the business unit.

Key tasks include:

• Effective management of the ?product to web? process for all Torpedo7 products
• Leadership of a small team of descriptions editors
• Double and triple checking?
• Product description writing
• Providing product related assistance to the Customer Services team
• Researching product

We have a 2x NEW full time positions within the Torpedo7 Descriptions team ready for the right candidates!

These roles will be responsible for writing and maintaining the product descriptions across our entire Torpedo7 product range. They will add some much needs capacity to the existing team to enable them to deal with the massive growth that we are currently seeing across the website. The successful candidates will need to have extensive knowledge of the key product categories in our existing website offering, a strong customer service focus, and be able to demonstrate the ability to research new products and then present these products in an informative and customer friendly way on our website.

Key Tasks:

• Edit and write suitable product descriptions for new products.
• Maintain existing product content to ensure that it is accessible and easily understood by our customers
• Have frequent communication with the Marketing and Customer Service Teams to determine website product content requirements
• Monitor new brands and products to ensure they are being set up within the required guidelines
• Provide general assistance to the Team Leader - Torpedo7 Descriptions.

Required Skills:

• It is essential that you have a solid background and sound knowledge of our key Torpedo7 product categories.
• Previous experience in copy-writing or editorial writing would be an advantage
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy with data entry is required
• High level of competency with spelling and grammar
• The candidate must have excellent organization skills
• Excellent written English and oral communication skills
• The ability to see through our customers eyes when writing product descriptions
• Ability to take instructions and follow these with a minimum of supervision
• Sound MS Office skills
• Web savvy for searching for information on the web
• Be a team player

Senior Test Analyst

We are in the process of growing our in-house development team to take more control over our website development. We are looking for a senior test analyst with several years of experience to come into our team and help us develop and refine our growing stable of websites.

Key result areas:

• Test processes developed and followed by Web Team
• Software quality metrics are setup, being measured and improving.
• Fewer disruptions to services caused by software defects introduced by the Web Team
• Comprehensive defect tracking system developed

Key tasks:

• Setup a robust testing structure, processes and procedures in the team
• Review requirements for testability
• Obtain client requirements when documentation is poor or insufficient
• Determine test conditions/test objectives
• Create comprehensive test cases relevant to test conditions
• Execute test cases and report results
• Working with members of the organisation to identify defects
• Raise, close and clear defects when necessary
• Periodically report results to other in the organisation
• Report to the Team Lead on a regular basis, detailing current work load, progress and issues.

Core skills:

• Minimum of 3 years? relevant testing experience
• Senior level experience in testing with good analysis skills and high levels of initiative
• Sound understanding of testing techniques and awareness of the appropriate use.
• Experience in producing test plans and estimating.
• Sound understanding of testing methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in test case design, test case writing and traceability matrices
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• A sense of humour
